Tabby Commute

Get Tabby across three lanes of traffic and a creek to reach the office. Five lives. Thirty seconds per crossing. Logs move — ride them or drown.
↑↓←→ or WASD to hop

Every cat's worst commute: five lanes of traffic, a creek full of logs, and an office that refuses to come any closer.

In the style of the classic lane-dodging arcade game that's been remade, ported, and cloned more or less continuously since its original 1981 arcade release — cross a road, dodge traffic, cross a river, don't drown, repeat. It's one of the most enduringly cloneable formats in arcade history precisely because the rules fit on the back of a napkin: timing and patience are the entire skill, and one bad decision costs you everything. We've swapped the original's amphibian for an office cat trying to make it across five lanes of traffic and a creek without being late.

How to play

Move the cat one tile at a time across the road, dodging vehicles, then hop across floating logs on the creek without falling in. Reach an open office entry slot to finish the level.

Scoring

Classic Frogger-style scoring — points for forward progress, bonus points for reaching the goal with time remaining.

Why play this?

The most chaotic five minutes on the site, and somehow still calmer than an actual commute.

Questions

What happens if I fall in the creek?

You lose a life and respawn at the start of the current attempt — falling off logs doesn't forgive.

Are all five goal slots the same?

Each slot scores the same — get the cat into any open one to clear the level.
